What the backpack makes possible
A nurse on a rural round arrives at an isolated patient's home. She puts on her backpack, enters the house, and within one minute, the digital stethoscope is connected, the vital signs monitor is ready, and the doctor appears on the tablet.
The patient no longer needs a 45-minute drive to see a doctor.
The nurse measures blood pressure, oxygen saturation, pulse and temperature. She places the digital stethoscope on the chest — the doctor hears the auscultation live. Vitals appear automatically in the patient record.
